Week 7 Sept. 24-28

Team Urban,

"Try your best!"
"Just do your best!"
"Did you do your best?" 
Students hear that so often from parents, teachers, and friends. But what does our BEST really look like and sound like? As a class, we came up with a list of visible things we could do to know and show we did our best. Here is what students came up with in class. We will use this as a reference point throughout the year to know if we did our best.

ELA:
-Begin reading About Earth
-Main idea in a nonfiction text
-Text features
-Spelling: V/CV, VC/V
-Writing: expository writing using a tree map

-Math Topic 3 test Wednesday, Sept. 26th.  Students should review their Topic 3 Pretest and bring in their evidence on paper by Wednesday.
-Begin Topic 4: Use multiplication to divide using division facts

September Assessment Log will be going home on Friday, Sept. 28th. Look for them and return signed.
