Grandparent’s Day visit and the evening Winter Program are Monday, Dec. 11. We will be performing Frosty the Snowman and Happy Holidays along with a Spanish performance of El Burrito Sabanero. 3rd Grade will perform for the Grandparents at 10:00 on Monday in the Lions' Den. Afterwards, they are invited to the classroom afterwards for a quick activity with us. Please let me know if you are expecting more than 1 set of grandparents to join us in the class on Monday so I can plan accordingly.
The evening performance will take place at Active Church. The performance times are as follows:
1-2nd grade: 5pm Holding room will open at 4:30
3rd-4th Grade: 5:45pm Holding room will open at 5:15
5th-6th Grade: 6:15pm Holding room will open at 5:45
We are requesting that your child wear a nice Christmas themed outfit for both performances, no Santa hats please.
LEADER of the WEEK:
We are going to begin our Leader of the Week program. The first student chosen randomly is Kassidy Reiss!
Each week, a new student will get a notice on Friday of each week, and bring in their homemade poster on Monday to hang up by the door. They will share the poster on Friday along with 1 share item. No pets please. Our kindness elf Pablo is super excited to begin Leader of the Week!
Class Market is Dec. 15, Friday from 12-1 in the Lions' Den. We will be using our class cash to purchase homemade items. I encourage all kiddos to create items to sell. Anything Christmas themed would be great too. Be creative and have fun!
