Service Projects DUE MAY 3rd
Please remember that ILCS is a leadership school and service is something we value greatly. Your kiddo is required to complete a service project and 8 hours of service. Their projects are due May 3rd and students will begin presenting the following week in class.

This Week:
To further drive our instructional needs towards mastery on end of year state testing, the Interim Assessment Blocks (IAB) for ELA and math. Please remember that the IAB's are to drive instruction and will not be recorded on your child's report card, however you will see their scores on the assessment logs we send home at the end of the month. Since IAB's will be given this week, feel free to pack extra snacks. Research shows that when one is chewing more oxygen goes to the brain, improving assessment score.

STATE TEST PREP SESSIONS
I will be holding morning test prep sessions beginning April 2, every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 7:30-8:00, to help prepare the students for the state test starting in May. I highly recommend the morning sessions for each student in the class.  Students are welcome to eat breakfast in class as we go over sample test problems for the test.  I hope to see all the students attend as much as possible.
