This last week was a busy week with Grandparent's Day and the evening Winter Performance. It is always a joy to meet the grandparents of the great students in our class.
I know the break is a time for relaxing and being with family. Just remember to make sure that your student has a few books they are reading over this time to help ensure they make their AR goal for the 2nd trimester. When we get back from break, before you know it, the AR deadline will be upon us.
Bob our Kindness Elf has been hanging around to help us spread kindness this season. Each day Bob has a note for the class to carry out an act of kindness. So far, students have written letters of kindness to family, friends, staff members, our principal, and to the seniors in our community.
If I do not have the opportunity to see you this week, please know that I wish you, and your family, a blessed and joyous Christmas break!
