Second full week of school, first full week of academic instruction. Here are some pics below of students working in cooperative groups showing their thinking about characters we have read about using a Thinking Map called a Bubble Map.
Assessment Scores will be sent home this coming Friday 9/1. You MUST check every week on Pearson to see scores from any assessments we have taken within that program. Here are the steps below:
- Go to Pearsonrealize.com
- Have your child log in with their known log in info
- Click on classes
- Go to completed folder and REVIEW scores for:
b. Math Topic Tests (Topic 1 Test 9/1)
c. ELA Unit tests (not yet taken)
Book Orders have been sent home and they are due 8/31. Here is our class group code when placing your online order at scholastic.com GRPY6
The class receives free books each time you place an order. I will
be sending new orders home every month. If we get $300 in total book orders by the end of September, our class will get 10,000 bonus points which is equal to over $200 in free books for the class!
Homework starts the week of 9/4.
Electives, Second Session and Success Academy begin this week.
