Success Academy starts back this week as does spelling.
Our focus this week will be:
Finish reading What is Government and begin reading Who Really Created Democracy? We will discuss how readers identify the main ideas and details in texts. We will also discuss how writers use linking words, phrases and a conclusion to strengthen their opinion.
Conventions: subject-verb agreement and pronoun-antecedent agreement
Writing: begin research on opinion writing

Continue Topic #14 Solve time, capacity, and mass problems
Continue our Fact Master multiplication tests.
Homework
Please remind your kiddo to write the date on their Reading Log and turn in their math fact practice each day.
Due every day: -Reading 20 plus minutes (put on reading log date and sign)

Due on Friday: -Writing on Moby Max: Students will be writing a review to share orally in class on Friday about a book they would like to recommend to others to read. Instructions on Moby Max.
