Remember that ILCS is a leadership school and we value service greatly. Each student is required to complete a service project of their 8 hours of service. The project will be due the first week in May. See link below for Community Service Guidelines and due date. DUE MAY 5th
FIELD TRIP: 3rd grade will be going on a field trip to the Safari Park in Escondido on Wednesday, May 14th. A previous Parent Square was sent home with all the information on Feb. 7th. Please refer to that email for any questions. UPDATE: Chaperones (if chosen) will receive a discounted price of $20 for the Safari Park entrance.
If you haven’t done so, please submit a $20 donation for our Safari Park field trip. When making the donation, please make sure you select 3rd Grade: Dollar A Day Link.
SBACC:
SBACC (state testing) will continue next Monday May 5th and continue through May 9th. Please try to plan all doctor and/or dentist appointments for after the school day and be on time for school.
During our testing weeks please send your child with extra snacks. Research shows that students who are chewing while testing do better on assessments. Also, be sure your child gets plenty of sleep and a good breakfast. Thank you in advance for your continued support.
