Team Urban,

We had a terrific time seeing the Little Mermaid performance at the San Bernardino Theatre.  Students were so excited to see all of the fascinating props and costumes that made the play so exciting to see.

AR:

The deadline for students to make their AR goal this trimester is May 31st. Students can still take AR after that date, however,  the cut off for the field trip and getting orders in on time is May 31st. This is only 4 1/2 weeks away.

Service Projects:

All third grade service projects will be due on Monday, May 1st. Requirements for the service project to be presented starting on May 1st are posted on the website. UPDATE: information about service projects is to the right under community service projects and in student Google classroom accounts. Students will be presenting their projects in Leadership class with Mrs. Coate.

SBACC:
SBACC (state testing) will begin the week of May 1st, 8th and continue through May 12th 19th. Please plan all doctor and/or dentist appointments for after the school day and please be on time for school.  I have the SBACC practice assessment link to the right.------------------>

During our testing weeks please send your child with extra snacks. Research shows that students who are chewing do better on assessments. Also, be sure your child gets plenty of sleep and a good breakfast. Our room mom will be sending out a snack sign up list for each day of testing for the students to eat in class.
