Team Urban,
I am so thankful for our parent volunteers this week. They helped all the 3rd-grade classes mix ingredients to make Thunder Cake. Thunder Cake is a story about a girl who has a fear of thunder so her grandma helps her overcome her fear by making Thunder Cake during the storm. It was a great fictional story to support a growth mindset and overcoming fears.
