May 24th - 28th

 Team Urban,

This week students will complete their last benchmark test in Math. It will be broken up over 3 days.


On Thursday, May 27th, we will have a visit from the 2nd graders at BSC. This trip will help get students acquainted with the CSC campus and 3rd-grade teachers and classrooms. 2nd-grade teachers will rotate their classes to each 3rd-grade class for 15min each. They will then have time to explore the campus and visit other locations such as the library and playground.


Friendly Reminders:

  1. May 28th-Last day to AR test for the school year and last day of Zoom 

  2. June 3rd- Please have your child bring their school computer and charger with them to turn in for the school year. If there is an issue with a charger or computer location, please notify me as soon as possible.

  3. June 4th- Collection of student computers and chargers if not turned in on June 3rd (no Zoom) 

  4. June 8th- End of Year Awards Assembly for 3rd grade at 8:15am (Parents will be notified by email)

  5. June 9th- Last day of school and Field Day from 9am to 11 am - Please make sure your child brings the following: athletic wear, running shoes, cap or hat, water bottle and puts sunblock on before arriving at school. (masks are not required on the field)

  • Math Benchmark (12-24only)

Independent Assignments:

  • 35 minutes of reading, article quizzes, and AR Tests

Wednesday, May 26th

  1. ELA 8am:  

  • End of year Activities

  1. Math 11am:  

  • Math Benchmark (25-33end)

Independent Assignments:

  1. ELA

  • 35 minutes of reading, article quizzes, and AR Tests

Thursday, May 27th

  1. ELA 8am: 

  • Prepare for 2nd-grade visit in classrooms                    

        2. Math 11am: 

  • Math Benchmark if not complete

Independent Assignments:

  1. ELA

  • 35 minutes of reading, article quizzes, and AR Tests

  1. Math

  • Complete Math Benchmark if needed
