Week of March 1st-5th

Team Urban,

As we approach the end of the 2nd trimester, parent conferences will be scheduled per request this trimester only. Please email me if you wish to request a parent conference sometime after school during the week of March 15th-19th.

Fluency for the remainder of the year is for the Green and Orange groups only. These students will see it uploaded in their See Saw.

AR for the last trimester begins March 1 (Monday). Students will help generate their new goals next week

Monday, March 1st

  1. ELA 8am: 

  • Introduce vocabulary

  • Spelling Pretest

  • Listen to Back of the Bus

  1. Math 11am: 

  • Green review pages 

Independent Assignments:

  1. ELA 

  • 35 minutes of reading, article quizzes, and AR Tests 

  • 1st Fluency recording on Seesaw (Green and Orange Group only) 

  • 15 minutes on IXL for ELA (P1-Read about famous people)

  1. Math

  • 30 minutes of IXL and a smart score of 100 (W1- Equivalent fractions: two models)

  • Red review pages 663-664



Tuesday, March 2nd

Zoom Sessions: 

  1. ELA 8am: 

  • Practice conventions and vocabulary 


  1. Math 11am: 

  • Review for test 

Independent Assignments:

  • Fluency practice, no recording needed

  • 15 minutes on IXL for ELA (EE1-Multiple meaning words with pictures)
