Team Urban,
I am elated to have most of the kiddos back in the classroom. The feeling of being with them in person and teaching in person is beyond comparison. Thank you for your patience this week as we were figuring out new support with tech in the class while teaching students in class and in Zoom.
Fluency
Students who physically come to campus (M/T and Th/F) will have a hard copy of their fluency page sent home. This passage will stay at home for daily practice. This oral reading process will allow students to increase their fluency abilities and stamina. Students on Distance Learning will continue to do fluency on Seesaw.
Independent Practice
If your child is on campus, they will be completing the Math Independent Practice at school, but are expected to read nightly for 30 minutes. Listed below is the work that students will need to complete independently ON THE DAYS THEY ARE NOT ON CAMPUS. As a reminder, students continuing with distance learning will proceed as usual.
