It was great getting to meet you all in person this week! I am looking forward to this year and working with all the students. I can tell I have a great group of students who seem eager to be in 3rd grade!
Below you will find independent work for the week of August 17th through August 21st. PLEASE make sure your child has accepted the Google Classroom invitation at their ilcsweb.com email as this will be where students will find the link for their Zoom Meetings. All work will be due by Friday, August 21st.
Along with the independent activities below, in our live Zoom time, we will be focusing on getting to know one another a little better, ROAR activities with key strategies, and ELA and Math Benchmarks.

Tuesday, August 18th
- Morning Independent Assignment- Circle of Control based upon the model completed in class. (Seesaw)
- Afternoon Independent Assignment- Write about a time you did not act safely. What did you learn from the experience? (Google Classroom)
Wednesday, August 19th
- Morning Independent Assignment- Leadership Plan (Seesaw)
- Afternoon Independent Assignment- Spend 15 minutes on IXL(Skill F1) with an 80% mastery and explore IXL 3rd grade
Thursday, August 20th
- Morning Independent Assignment-Complete ELA Benchmark (1-25) in (Savvas/Pearson)
- Afternoon Independent Assignment-Complete Benchmark (26-33)
Friday, August 21st
- Morning Independent Assignment- Complete any assignments not completed
- Afternoon Independent Assignment- Complete Math Placement Test (Savvas/Pearson)
