Team Urban,
We are down to the final 3 days of 3rd grade! As always, it is extremely rewarding to watch each child achieve a successful year with growth in their academics as well as social/emotional growth. As this year comes to a close, I would like to thank each and every one of you for your support throughout the year. I am honored to have been your child's teacher, and I couldn't have done it all without your support and engagement in your child's education.
They Escaped!--Here are some pictures from the 3rd Grade Escape Room Day. They had a blast trying to "Escape" 3rd grade!
The last 3 days of school are busy, so here is a rundown of the activities each day:
Monday, June 1st:
- Visit to 4th-grade classrooms
- AR Waterslide Day
Here’s what students need to wear and bring:
Swim shirt and board shorts or athletic shorts (no bikini bathing suits allowed)
Water shoes or Crocs in sport mode are highly recommended
A water bottle and extra snacks
Sunscreen and hats are also recommended
Towel -2 possibly
Change of clothes is optional
Schedule for the waterslide fun:
After recess, students who have met all 3 trimesters of AR will go first. Afterwards, students who missed their goal for a trimester will join in the waterslide fun!
Parents are invited to join us during the waterslide time! We’re so excited to celebrate with a fun and memorable day!

Wednesday, June 3rd: Last day of School
- Field Day CSC 9-11
- 3rd Grade BBQ 11-1
