February 16th - 20th

 

We are so thankful that the rain held off for most of our walk to the YPAC and back to school.  Students were able to experience a theatrical play called Seussical the Musical. They also had the opportunity to ask questions of the cast members at the end and listen to first-hand experiences they each bring to the table to make the performance successful!

The end of the 2nd trimester is February 23rd. Please remember that it is also the last day to AR. Several students are not within the range of meeting their AR goals. We will have our celebratory AR Campout this Friday. Students are allowed to bring in a blanket, a stuffy, and a flashlight to read.

Additionally, please remember that ILCS is a leadership school and we value service greatly. Each student is required to complete a service project of their 8 hours of service. The project will be due the first week in May. 

Our class had a fun Valentine's Day celebration. Thank you for all the class donations that helped make it so successful! Students were busy coloring crafts, making bookmarks, completing activity pages, decorating cookies, and exchanging Valentine's cards.

Friday, February 20th: AR Campout 11-1-PJ day

Monday, February 23rd: Last day to AR for 2nd trimester
