April 27th-May 1st

Hello Third Grade Families,

3rd grade will be continuing instruction and assignments online. If you are unable to receive access to the internet, please contact the school immediately for support. Regardless of our closure, it is the desire of ILCS that your child’s academic progress continues. We hope to accomplish this by making sure students are actively engaged through daily ZOOM meetings. Every day from 11am-12 your child’s teacher will be live through video conferencing in order to provide more direct instruction and answer your child’s questions. This link will be posted in your child’s Google Classroom each day. Please make sure your child is prepared for these sessions with an appropriate learning environment and their necessary learning materials (math book, writing journals, writing tool, etc.)

Below are the assignments for the week of April 27th - May 1st. Teachers will be monitoring student progress each day to ensure the success of student learning at home. All third grade teachers will be available for questions and support daily. Pacers, please be in contact with your pacing teacher for specific instruction.

Reminders:
Spelling and vocabulary can be practiced through Pearson Games that have been assigned to all students.
Needing extra math practice for your child? There are homework pages in the math workbook after each lesson.
Need extra math facts practice? There is a link in Google Classroom (Math Magician) for additional practice.
Google Classroom assignments are posted the day prior.

All ELA assignments will be located in Google Classroom. All required math work can be found on Pearson. You must log into these sites from the ILCS Links Page. Students will need their Spiral Writing Notebooks and Math Books to complete required work.
